Mnqobi Nxumalo who had his second album “my side of the view” launched on the 3rd of July at the Soweto Theater is ready for Swazi gig. Mnqobi Nxumalo is well known for his contribution to biggest Gospel choir in Africa Joyous Celebration. He has worked on songs like: “Angeke Ngisuke” – Joyous 18; “Bayede” Joyous 19; “Bengingazi” – Joyous 20; “Grateful” – Joyous 20. He’s coming for a concert on the 4th of November 2016, at the Convention Center at Ezulwini promoting the album.
The 27 year old singer, composer, producer, and performer hails from KZN – Empangeni, Ngwelezane. Born and raised by his Mother with 2 sisters and cousins. At age 16 he completed his matric and pursued his diploma in Sound Engineering and worked for the SABC as a radio technician. While working for the SABC he then took the musical route and started recording his first album, that he produced himself from instrumentation until mastering with the help of his other upcoming friends. His first solo Christian album titled “He’s a wonder” made a huge positive impact on those who got themselves copies, and further opened more doors for him.
Mnqobi Nxumalo’s harmonic golden tunes describe his music genre as contemporary Gospel, urban Gospel and neo-soul with a classical feel. He takes Praise and Worship to a higher, wider and dynamic level. He has a voice that will load you with an amazing dose of urban sounds yet on a spiritual perspective. Mnqobi Nxumalo’s second album titled “My Side Of The View” is a continuation of his ministry and gift. Mnqobi Nxumalo is very excited about the concert and is looking forward to praising and worshiping with the people of Swaziland. He’s not coming alone, but will be coming with a full band. This event is proudly presented by Creativity Parlour in association with Malachi Entertainment.
Mnqobi Nxumalo explains the My Side Of The View album as an expression of how a person relates with God. The album is a 16 track musical and spiritual journey, which he would be sharing and expressing live on the 4th of November. As part of this experience, he’s coming along with a full band, and will be accompanied by former Joyous Celebration artist Unathi Mzekeli and surprise act. Swazi artists who will be part of this experience include Harmony Trinity, Fakazi Samuel and Symphony.
